As one of the oldest barbershops in Vancouver, Kitsilano Barbers has been fixture on 4th Avenue for over 70 years. Now owned by Denzil Wood, the barbershop was first opened by his grandfather, Frank Wood, in 1946. His Uncle, Ken, joined the family business in 1957 and His dad, Ray followed shortly after in 1963. Ray worked as a barber for 56 years, finally retiring in 2019.
